Savannah Journal of Language, Literature and Communication Studies welcomes the submission of article manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence. The paper should be empirical or theoretical, well researched and persuasive. Original research articles, reviews, commentaries, and methods could also be considered.

Article Submission
  • The language of the manuscript must be in English. (Preferably, British standard and American standard should not be mixed).
  • Manuscript should be typed on double spaced A4 size sheets with 12 points, times new roman and should be between 3500-5000 words including titles, references and notes (where applicable)
  • The title page should contain the title of the paper, names of the author(s), institutional affiliation, telephone number and e-mail address of the corresponding author.
  • Each article should be preceded by a concise title and an abstract of not more than 250 words.
  • Abstract must be in italics and not exceeding 250 words and should contain brief problem statement, objective of the paper, methodology, findings and recommendations with at least 4 key words beneath it.
  • All papers sent to GOSAJOLLCOS must not have been submitted for assessment or publication elsewhere.
  • Authors are to maintain originality as they are responsible for information, facts and opinions contained in their papers.
  • The articles should be subjected to peer reviews prior to acceptance and publication.
  • Authors of accepted articles shall be contacted for necessary actions while those whose articles are not publishable shall also be communicated.
  • Manuscripts should conform to either the 7th Edition of the APA or the 8th Edition of the MLA format.
  • Authors should provide Biodata of not more than three sentences at the end of their papers.
  • Publication Fee: Each article should be accompanied with a non-refundable assessment fee of Eight Thousand Naira (NGN8,000.00) only, payable into Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) Plc. Account Name: Malata Andrew Zakayo, Account Number: 0265541310. Payment slip should be scanned and sent online with paper. Accepted paper will be published upon payment of (NGN20,000.00) only.
  • However, note that Book reviews, short stories, poems and other creative academic works are very welcomed and are published for free.
  • Submission of papers is all year round.

    The editor will acknowledge receipt by replying to the corresponding author. A tracking Number is assigned for each submission. Authors can use this number to track and know the status of their submission.
